Brockenhurst College is seeking a dynamic and committed Director of Faculty to join our upper leadership team. This is a new role at the College, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape the future direction of key curriculum areas and make a real impact on the student experience and outcomes. As Director of Faculty , you will provide effective strategic leadership across a group of curriculum areas, managing and supporting Curriculum Leaders to drive high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. You will be responsible for aligning the Faculty's provision and performance with the College's strategic goals, as well as local and regional need, ensuring that students thrive and progress successfully. You will oversee curriculum planning, quality assurance, student achievement, and progression, and play a key role in ensuring that curriculum design and delivery meet local and regional skills priorities, supporting the employability and progression of our students. We are looking for an experienced and inspirational educational leader who promotes a culture of ambition, excellence, and innovation. This is a full time, permanent post. In return, you will receive a salary of 57,250 - 60,383 per annum . As our Director of Faculty, you will have: Proven experience of successful curriculum leadership, demonstrating quality improvement and development. Knowledge and appreciation for curriculum-related post-16 education matters. Experience of relationship-building and collaboration with stakeholders. Evidence of relevant continued professional development and/or training. The ability to lead teams and manage development and change effectively. A creative, innovative, and adaptable approach.
