The purpose of this role is to seek out new land opportunities whilst monitoring the local market and competitors activities using saturation surveys and other key areas of research, as well as applying a broad understanding of the regional planning context. Primary Responsibilities Coordination and collating information from external consultants and internal departments in order that competitive land bid offers are made on time and the region retains a strong land bank Ensure knowledge of land agents and local planning environment in the region is up to date and developed to seek out new land opportunities to build positive relationships with landowners and agents, and give the company a competitive edge Utilise the ability to work with in-house and external Architects, Engineers and Surveyors to optimise profit for the regional business and keep costs to a minimum. Be accountable for land project budgets. Provide excellent negotiation skills, project management, financial reporting and detailed land exercise appraisals to help achieve team deadlines and targets, whilst working towards the companies high standards at all times Given proven experience the role will involve mentoring and training junior members of the team and developing their skills to a sufficient level where they can take on more responsibility and add value to the team, thus improving productivity within the region What experience do I need?
