Role Overview We are seeking a commercially astute and technically competent Senior Software Sourcing Executive to join our global procurement team. The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing projects, vendor negotiations, and strategic procurement initiatives with leading software providers. This is a pivotal role offering visibility across senior stakeholders, with the opportunity to shape and optimise global software procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives for enterprise and specialised software solutions across the business. Manage commercial negotiations with major software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, Salesforce, ServiceNow). Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and business units to align sourcing strategy with commercial and operational goals. Drive value creation through strategic supplier management, cost optimisation, and licensing efficiency. Deliver savings and manage contract risk while supporting digital transformation projects. Monitor and stay abreast of software market trends, pricing models, and commercial innovations. Contribute to the development and refinement of category strategies, governance models, and supplier performance frameworks. Ensure compliance with global procurement policies, licensing regulations, and contract lifecycle processes. Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with a focus on software sourcing and licensing negotiations. Proven track record in managing high-value deals and complex negotiations with Tier 1 software vendors. Strong understanding of software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription, cloud). Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams in a global matrix environment. Commercially sharp, analytical, and detail-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills. Experience within a multinational corporate or business services environment is highly desirable. Education & Qualifications Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, IT, Procurement, etc.). CIPS qualification (or progress toward it) is advantageous but not essential. TPBN1_UKTJ
