Youll be performing data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis, alongside developing and performing standard queries to ensure data quality and identify data inconsistencies and missing data.Day-to-day, youll also be:Collecting, profiling and mapping appropriate data to use in new or existing solutions as well as for ongoing data activitiesIdentifying and documenting data migration paths and processes, standardising data naming, data definitions and modellingInterpreting customer needs and turning them into functional or data requirements and process modelsCreating and executing test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution designFacilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testingBuilding and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key business stakeholdersThe skills you'll needWere looking for someone with experience of using data analysis tools and delivering data modelling in a technology or IT function within financial services. Ideally, you'll bring experience of working in Finance or Risk domains.Well also look for:An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domainsA background in delivering research based on qualitative and quantitative data across a range of subjectsAn analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
