This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring we effectively manage labour resources across our operations to support the successful delivery of Ocado groceries on time and within budget.Working closely with a wide range of internal teams, youll help shape resourcing plans, analyse labour trends and data, and ensure legal and operational standards are maintained. This role is shift-based and supports our 24/7 business operations, including regular weekend work.As a Planner, you will:Use your data analysis skills to track KPIs, forecast labour, and optimise operational planningTranslate performance metrics into actionable insights that support resource planningCollaborate with internal stakeholders to influence planning decisions and support operational performanceMaintain accurate Time & Attendance data and manage employee rosters, swaps, overtime, and holiday requestsEnsure compliance with health 'safety, GDPR, working time regulations, and competition compliance guidelinesTo be successful as a Planner, you will need:Strong communication and problem-solving skills to work with both operational teams and stakeholdersProficiency with Microsoft Excel and planning tools including the ability to analyse and interpret dataA proactive and organised approach, able to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to spot trends and opportunities for efficiency improvementsA positive, collaborative attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesWhat you can expect to receive in return:At Ocado, we believe in a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
