A fast-growing, PE-backed leader in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its lean and high-performing legal team. Operating across multiple European jurisdictions, the business plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of goods for some of the worlds most recognisable brands.This is a newly created role, ideal for a commercial lawyer with 25 years PQE who enjoys working closely with the business. You'll be involved in a broad range of commercial agreements, supporting core operations and strategic projects.What you'll be doing:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer, supplier, logistics, and services agreements across multiple jurisdictions.Supporting cross-border projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, working closely with business leaders and external counsel.Liaise with senior stakeholders across the business to provide pragmatic legal advice aligned with commercial objectives.Provide day-to-day legal support across the business, with a focus on commercial and operational matters.What were looking for:Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 25 years post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house legal team.Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, with a strong understanding of legal and commercial considerations in a fast-paced, operational environment.Previous experience in logistics is desirable but not mandatory; candidates from other sectors will also be considered
