Synthetic Research Chemist required on a permanent basis, based in Manchester. Requiring a PhD in synthetic chemistry, with proven experience of multi-step chemical synthesis and designing new synthetic routes. Recent, proven industrial experience of synthetic chemistry is desirable, but not essential. They are now looking for a Synthetic Research Chemist to join the lab team at their site in Manchester. This role will see the successful individual planning and designing synthetic routes to synthesise intermediates and speciality chemical compounds and carrying out practical synthetic chemistry ranging from gram to kilogram scales. Ideal candidates will have completed a PhD in synthetic chemistry, with experience of multi-step synthesis and designing new synthetic routes.
