You will provide training and supervision to students, less experienced colleagues, and customers in all aspects of the service.Key Responsibilities:Leading clinically with complex casesTraining, mentoring, and supervising less experienced colleagues.Providing guidance to the clinical team on the most appropriate clinical intervention.Leading the orthotic team in outcome measurement including use of gait analysis equipment.Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses as required.Assisting with presentations, seminars, training, and education at all levels.Working within the framework provided by the company to ensure cost effective product provision.Taking part in clinical audit and clinical research, liaising with both clinical and technical employees.What are we looking for? As Senior Orthotist you will have the following.Essential skills and experience Qualified in Prosthetics and OrthoticsHCPC registrationMember of BAPO/ISPO (desirable)Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwearAble to prioritise and manage your own workload and that of othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with colleagues at all levelsBe able to manage difficult, challenging and sensitive situationsGood judgment and decision-making skills
