You will be supporting administrative activities to facilitate the accurate and timely production of monthly payrolls, whilst ensuring legislative and internal controls are applied. Key Responsibilities Update and validate recurring and non-recurring payroll data input Import and reconciliation of HMRC tax code data Checking and verification of Payroll exception reports, both pre and post payroll production Liaise with external agencies as required Assist with any general ad-hoc and payroll queries Production of manual payroll calculations in accordance with legislative requirements Ad-hoc and monthly reporting Key Competencies Strong communication and inter-personal skills Must demonstrate levels of integrity and confidentiality Strong team player and good worker individually Ability to work to strict deadlines Excellent attention to detail Logical thinker Qualifications and Attributes Essential Qualifications and Experience GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Language Good knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel and Word Strong oral and written communication skills Desirable Qualifications and Experience Operational experience of Oracle C lick here to apply today Visit n orthernpowergrid.com/careers to find out more about this and other career opportunities.
