Contract Hire Sales Manager - Centurion Truck Rental - South of England Centurion Truck Rental is one of the UKs leading service providers in the field of commercial vehicle rental, leasing and contract hire. Established in the mid 1990s Centurion have developed strong relationships in major UK industries including Transport, Retail and Manufacturing as well as having a strong presence with commercial SMEs. Formed originally from one location which is now their head office at Middleton, Manchester they now operate from 14 locations and provide a 24 hour, 365 days a year, vehicle hire service throughout the UK. We are looking for an ambitious Contract Hire Manager to join the team and contribute to our continued growth goals. Working closely with the Management team, and with the full support of the wider leadership team, youll be growing and enhancing our customer experience. You will be responsible for overall growth through new business wins and nurturing mature key accounts. You will also be responsible for management of existing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and sales strategies. This role is a mobile & customer facing but office attendance as and when required, to work as part of the team alongside a depot manager to retain and grow a portfolio of business, and to win new customers within their market in the South of England. We see this as a progressional role, with plenty of headroom to grow within the wider BVH Group. Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure long-term rental and contract hire, of our trailer fleet. Set, agree, and deliver area sales objectives through target customer acquisition, individual negotiations, lead conversions, and ongoing performance review. Provide regular feedback and market intelligence on customer, competitor, and industry activity. Offer innovative ideas to promote the business within your area and beyond. Working collaboratively with maintenance / engineering and operational teams to give a world class contract hire offering to new and existing accounts Develop and execute action plans to achieve area revenue targets for contract sales. Update CRM systems to maintain accurate customer and sales data. Consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
