About Daily Dose Daily Dose is the largest cold pressed juice manufacturer in the UK. Born in Battersea, we now produce all our drinks in-house at our Corby factory, after beginning life in our founder''s mum''s kitchen. At Daily Dose, we produce the finest juice made from wonky fruit and veg which would otherwise be thrown away. The role will be part of the technical function reporting to the Head of Technical. Will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role involves logging, investigating, and trending customer complaints, managing technical equipment calibrations, supporting various quality assurance activities. What will the role involve? Customer Complaints and Non-Conformance Management: Log, investigate, and trend customer complaints, non-conformances, and concessions. Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Generate regular reports on trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Calibration Scheduling: Create and maintain a schedule for the calibration of all technical equipment. Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with industry standards and company policies. Quality Management System Administration: Administer the quality management system (QMS), ensuring all documents are controlled and up to date. Implement changes to the QMS as required to comply with regulatory updates or internal process improvements. Quality Assurance Coverage: Cover the Quality Assurance (QA) Technician role when required, performing routine QA checks, and ensuring compliance with product specifications. Technical Department Consumables Management: Manage the inventory of consumables for the technical department, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Order and replenish consumables as needed to support ongoing operations. Supplier Assurance Database Management: Maintain the supplier assurance database, ensuring all supplier documents are current and complete. Liaise with suppliers to obtain necessary certifications and documentation. Deputise for Head of Technical: Act as the deputy for the Head of Technical when required, overseeing departmental activities. Complete and Maintain Daily Dose and Customer FP Specifications Work with NPD and Head of Technical to ensure all the relevant information is added to the specifications and they are kept up to date with any changes. HACCP Participation: Actively participate as a member of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) team. Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP plans to ensure food safety. Operational Support: Support the Operations team in conducting root cause analysis for production issues. Collaborate with operations personnel to implement effective solutions and process improvements. Help provide support to the Operational team in training of quality testing, food safety and hygiene activities. What experience, skills, and traits do I need? At least 3 years technical / QA experience within FMCG preferably within chilled food and drink. HACCP level 3. Internal Auditor training and experience. Knowledge and experience with retailer specification systems. What are the key competencies? Problem-solving and root cause analysis Ability to investigate with strong analytical skills.
