Working hours are 9-5:30PM BST. There will be light travel involved for this role, travelling to different test houses to test various hardware products this will be paid for/expensed. The Electronic Test Engineer will support off-site testing of consumer hardware products (set top boxes, routers, PC's, TVs, etc) and ensure they comply with product safety regulations within the US, UK, and EU. All products are built on a Linux-based platform - the candidate will be expected to run Python test scripts to automate the running of tests in external environments. Candidate will gather data from testing reports and produce presentable documentation on the testing outcome, which will be shared with technical and non-technical stake holders. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of EMC and Radio frequencies with a familiarity using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and/or spectrum analysers. Candidates must have great communication and documentation skills with strong business acumen. Must be comfortable working independently, and in a small team environment.
