Job title: Senior/Principal Safety Case ConsultantJob Type: Permanent Start date: As soon as possible subject to clearanceSalary Range: Depending On ExperienceBenefits Package: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme Pension Matched up to 6%, Bonus AvailableLocation: Warrington or Abingdon Hybrid Working Available WFH 3 Days Per WeekHours of work: 37 Hours Role & Responsibilities:Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in regard to technical excellence, the quality of deliverables, timescales and cost, in a way that supports the long-term growth of the business and its reputation.Working as the technical lead for safety in multi discipline projectsActively participating in the integrated design process and interfacing with engineers and human factors specialists.Developing and present robust and reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner.Represent the Company on technical matters to clients/external stakeholders.Provide technical checking & verification for technical / compliance / thoroughness of argument / QA standards.Liaising with all concerned on technical progress.Identifying opportunities with clients and supporting, mentoring, coaching and helping others to develop within the business.Qualifications/Experience Required: Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both oral and written.Ability to independently seek out or develop ones own answer to challenging technical questions.Ability to organise ones own time and the time of others to ensure internal / external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.Good report writing skills.Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.Have a degree or equivalent in engineering, science or related field of study.Understanding of the safety case production process and methodologies.Familiarity with areas such as decommissioning, optioneering, best practice, human factors, radioactive materials transport, licensing, radioactive waste.UK National Security Vetting Status Candidates must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.Interested in this position? please click apply nowWe try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.Company information: This Permanent vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
