What you will do here Working in the Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will detect, investigate, and respond to security events across a complex, multi-departmental IT environment. You'll maintain and use key security tools such as SIEM, IDS, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms. You will work closely with system owners and users to assess configurations, analyse logs, and improve security controls and procedures. In addition to day-to-day operations, you'll contribute to wider projects aimed at enhancing the University's security posture through new technologies and improved detection and response capabilities.
