On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Airside Operations & Fire Fighter to join them on a permanent basis.Role: Airside Operations & Fire Fighter Pay: On Application Location: South West London Hours: 4 days on 4 days off rotation - Times will cover operational requirements Status: PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesActing as a member of the Heliport RFFS team, in accordance with the relevant sections of the Heliport Manual. Respond to emergency situations according to your role in the RFFS team and as defined in the Heliport Emergency Orders. Acting as a member of the Heliport Airside Handling team, including carrying out checks and inspections on PPE, RPE, equipment, vehicles, quality checks and stock control (including fire-fighting media, aviation fuel), in accordance with the relevant sections of the Heliport Manual. Note and record any deficiencies and report these to the responsible supervisor so that they can be recorded and where possible corrected as soon as possible. Carry out passenger and baggage handling duties, fuel quality, delivery and supply, aircraft marshalling and mechanical handling. Various light maintenance duties to land, property and equipment (including sweeping, snow clearance, weeding, painting, signage).
