Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an LCL Export Operator to join their office in Basildon.Duties Will Include: • Planning of container loads for specific destinations • Process bookings using operating system • Ensure full compliance of appropriate legislation and regulations and all documentation relevant to the movement of cargo • Respond promptly to comments queries & feedback • Liaise with Customer Service staff on specific booking requirements as necessary • Communicate effectively with shipping lines, CFS and transport suppliers • Manage Customs processes necessary for the export of shipmentsEssential Requirements: • A methodical approach and ability to co-operate with colleagues • Excellent communication skills with an understanding of the importance of attention to detail • A flexible, hands on approach to work and willing to complete a variety of tasks • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. • Ability to multi-task, prioritise your workload effectively...
