Our client, a market-leading B2B distribution business, is seeking a Transport Supervisor to join their dynamic team at their busy Tamworth site.About the Role:As a Transport Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of a fast-paced transport operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods to business customers nationwide. You'll lead a team of drivers and support staff, ensuring compliance, safety, and outstanding service levels at all times.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily transport operations, including route planning, driver briefings, and debriefings Manage and support a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with WTD, tachograph legislation, and company procedures Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery, fuel usage, and customer satisfaction Work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations Identify areas for continuous improvement in efficiency and service delivery Maintain vehicle compliance and liaise with external maintenance providersWhat We're Looking For:Previous experience in a supervisory role within transport or logistics Strong knowledge of transport legislation and driver regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills A pr...
