We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Nando's and Pizza Hut. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.What you'll be doing:Hygiene Operative - Day Shift - Red: Wed-Sat / Thurs-Sat and Blue: Sun-Wed / Sun-Tues shifts available 06:00am - 18:00pm at 12.64 per hour (Starting rate)As a Hygiene Operative you be required to undertake all aspects of cleaning all food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards. You will be carrying out the consistent application of hygiene within a given area/line to make sure the area is maintained to the agreed standards. It'll be part of your job to ensure that all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production shift. Some duties include:Carry out Daily Cleaning of all areas of the factory as part of a teamTo schedule Deep cleaning of large machineryWearing full PPE such as : Chemical suit, Visor, Wellingtons, Gloves and Safety gogglesWorking in Chilled and Hot environmentsFilling out Paperwork to document the cleansPromote good health and safety culture within the work placeUse of/ and storage of chemicalsReporting of any damaged equipment or machinery.What we're looking for:Anybody is able to do this role as training and education will be provided. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity. A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written is a must.
