Senior Women's Wear Designer - Wovens - OccasionwearLeading High Street Supplier - LondonFull Time/Perm - office based 5 days per weekWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Women's Wear Designer across Multi-Product Occasionwear for young fashion retail accounts such as ASOS and River Island to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends, colour, print and embellishment and the ability to translate these into commercially successful ranges.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with design director and account managers to design seasonal collections. Select fabrics, trims, colour palettes, prints and graphics that complement the design vision and USP.Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay ahead of industry developments.Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and technical packs for each design.Work collaboratively with our customers creating initial rack ups of appropriate styling. Attending customer meetings with account manager, adhering to requirements and deadlines.Work closely with the technical and production team to ensure designs are to our established blocks, are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.About you:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years of experience with a focus in Women's WovensProficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel for research, sourcing, attending industry events.Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current and future trends.
