Costa Store ManagerContract: HealthcareLocation: London, SE18 4QHHours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity to be manage brand-new Costa Coffee opening in the Atrium of QE Hospital, launching in August.As ISS’s first fully franchised Costa Coffee, the focus is on delivering not just exceptional standards, but genuine hospitality that reflects the unique hospital setting.Job DescriptionThis isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s a moment of comfort for a loved one visiting a patient, a well-earned break for a busy nurse, or a small act of normality in a challenging day.We’re looking for Coffee Shop Manager who understand the emotional impact of thoughtful, heartfelt service and who are passionate about creating a welcoming environment that goes beyond the transactional to offer a meaningful experience for every customer.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support retail and patient catering teams, ensuring safe and effective service aligned with company policiesOversee all catering and retail operations across the hospital siteBuild strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, Trust contacts, and external partnersSet and manage objectives in line with contract goals, contributing to service performancePlan and develop catering offers in collaboration with ISS subject matter expertsEnsure compliance with Hospital Food Review (2021) guidance and safe food delivery standardsMaintain a safe, hygienic environment in line with food safety and health regulationsProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsSemi-senior level experience in a Costa store with knowledge of brand standardsProven ability to manage large teams effectivelyExperience overseeing a £35K+ retail operationStrong understanding of food safety standards and complianceConfident in maintaining brand consistency and operational excellenceComfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmentAble to drive performance and uphold service qualityThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
