Job Summary The Finance Manager is a pivotal role within the organisation you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards and will report to the Financial Controller. There is a lot of scope to grow and develop within your career. ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and AnalysisDevelop and manager annual budgets and forecasts.Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.Provide financial reports and insights to senior management to aid in decision-making.Accounting OperationsOversee the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Maintain and reconcile balance sheet, trial balance and income statement accounts.Compliance ControlsEnsure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and standards.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.Team ManagementLead and mentor the accounting team across different countryFoster a collaborative and productive work environmentConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and developmentStrategic InitiativesSupport strategic planning initiatives with financial insights and analysis.Participate in financial modelling and scenario planning for potential business ventures.Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Cash Flow Management Monitor and manage company cash flow.Optimise working capital and manage debt obligations.Forecast future financial positions and plan accordingly.AuditHMRC, Tax ComputationHMRC R & D Tax ClaimSkills and QualificationsQualified/working towards CIMA, ACCA qualification Strong Analytical skills Banking Experience Payroll calculation experience 5+ years of experience in similar role Month end closing Experience SME experience (preferred) Commercial experienceAn eye for detailAdvanced skills in Excel Personal SkillsEnjoys change management, flexible, innovative, proactive, likes to work in a fast -paced environment, has a positive attitude, assertive, have a strong teamwork skillset
