Position Title: EDS Build Technician Duration: Contract Location: Woking, Surrey OUTSIDE IR35*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*About the companyI am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in wOKING, who are seeking a EDS Build Technician to join their teamEssential Criteria:To support the Electrical Systems department with electrical troubleshooting, issues resolution, solution proven and reporting back to customer team.Receive and analyse customer rework requests, analyse documentation and prepare required materialsSupport vehicle rework and testing activitiesClosing issues and supporting other engineers from other areas where neededElectrical investigations using basic test equipmentKnowledge of electronic circuit design and signal integrity, able to read 2D drawings and identify components.Proven experience on reworking LV vehicles, 3-5 years of experience within the wiring harness, EDS.Complete all relevant documentation and reports Nice to Have Criteria:Basic understanding of CAN, communication networks and electrical components.Previous Client experienceWhy work through Contechs?Contechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
