This new strategy is part of an exciting journey for a well-established and profitable company with further opportunities for growth in the coming years.Role Overview:The Senior Finance Manager leads the management of financial operations across region Europe ensuring compliance with all internal and regulatory controls. Leading a team of 5 employees (of which 4 are direct reports), focusing on finance, accounting, analysis, reporting, auditing, taxation, compliance, risk management, cross-departmental collaboration and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role manages and executes the day-to-day financial and accounting activities, conduct monthly and other regular financial reconciliations and reporting, and manage the audit process. Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts (IFRS & local GAAP) and continuously improving financial processes, and controls will also be key aspects of your role. The candidate will work closely with local and headquarters finance team, regional sales leaders, respective country sales lead and enabling function leaders.Responsibilities:Manage and prepare accurate group’s consolidated financial reporting and presentation for timely submissionResponsible for cashflow & treasury reporting, and regular reporting packages to holding companiesHandle audits, tax, and statutory filing requirements both locally and regionally. Assist in audit process, statutory and tax filings; compliance of applicable regulatory requirements (such as accounting standards and taxation), proactive to grasp & sort out new regulatory requirements timelyStrengthen internal controls and mitigation risks.Work with and supporting local and overseas finance teams for timely deliverable of management and statutory reporting, with the objectives to ensure the compliance of internal control policies and external accounting standardsResponsible for statutory reporting, sub-consolidation, reporting packages and deal with overseas auditors and bankers for sub-consolidated results and bank covenants complianceWork with headquarter finance team and act as HQ focal point; assist financial controller in managing, streamlining and improving the accounting, consolidation and reporting processes.
