Production TechnicianAn established and fast-growing engineering company based in Hampshire is looking to expand its Production Team. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of production equipment. This is a very exciting time to join this company with significant investment expected as well as excellent career development opportunities.The responsibilities of the Production Technician will include: Ensures consistent production output by monitoring processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding high product quality standards throughout manufacturing.Applies a thorough understanding of operational procedures and safety protocols, while actively seeking opportunities to refine and enhance them.Demonstrates strong awareness of job-specific hazards and mitigation strategies, regularly reviewing practices to improve safety and efficiency.Maintains a professional and adaptable work ethic with a strong emphasis on punctuality, quality, and teamwork, contributing positively to the workplace culture.Supports cross-functional teams, engages in continuous improvement initiatives, and upholds workplace organisation and safety standards through proactive participation in lean practices like 5S.Requirements for the Production Technician is: Happy to work shifts including nights (when required however this is not regular)Will have knowledge around following SOP’s and reading engineering drawings.Have relevant knowledge of risk assessments and be able to identify improvements and changes to benefit the company.Skilled in using production workshop equipment, handheld, fixed cutting machinery including band and circular saws, grinders, sanders etc.Knowledge of composite materials within a production environment would be beneficial.Experience of automated production and/or low volume/high value products would be beneficial.What this is offering: Competitive starting salaryCompany performance bonusShift premium allowancePrivate medicalInvestment in personal growth & developmentDeath in ServiceGreat Pension Scheme up to 10%Life Assurance SchemeIf you are interested in the position please click apply and attach your most up-to-date CV.
