Technical Engineering ManagerPermanent, Full TimeLocation: Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), OrpingtonVinci, a leading provider of facilities management and infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Technical Engineering Manager to join our team at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) in Orpington.This senior position plays a critical role in leading engineering performance across a complex hospital environment.The successful candidate will be the technical authority on site, ensuring life-critical systems are maintained to the highest standards and that all works are fully compliant with healthcare regulations, particularly HTMs and HBNs.What we’re looking for: Strong technical expertise in building services within healthcare or critical environments In-depth knowledge of HTMs, HBNs, statutory compliance, and life safety systems HND/HNC in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline (Degree desirable) Chartered or working toward Chartership (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM, or IWFM) Proven experience in project delivery, technical reporting, and supporting lifecycle works Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and safe working practicesKey responsibilities:Lead the engineering strategy for the hospital, ensuring HTM compliance and industry best practiceProvide technical oversight and mentoring to the on-site M&E teamCollaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure engineering systems support healthcare deliveryOversee technical elements of lifecycle planning and capital maintenance projectsAct as the technical escalation point and ensure robust engineering governance is maintainedSupport compliance audits, technical inspections, cost planning, and continuous improvement initiativesApply now and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss your application.
