Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: SuttonSalary: Excellent rate of pay + mileage coveredContract: 6 months with possible extensionWe are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a dedicated NHS team located in Sutton.This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy services for cancer patients. You’ll play a key role in managing the supply and distribution of chemotherapy and other SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) medications across the hospital, & an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience.Duties:Help manage the day-to-day running of the SDUDispense and final check batch and patient-specific (PS) dosesEnsure medicines are delivered on time to wards and day unitsSupervise and support junior team membersCommunicate with clinical teams and other pharmacy departmentsSupport audits, data collection, and process improvementsHelp review SOPs to maintain high safety and quality standardsWhat We’re Looking For:Registered Pharmacy TechnicianMust have NHS hospital experienceAccredited Checking Technician (ACPT) qualification preferredStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat You’ll Gain:Work in one of the UK’s leading cancer centresBe part of a forward-thinking pharmacy teamOpportunities for development and progressionInvolvement in improving pharmacy services to benefit patients
