OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Quality Manager to join our team within the Dungannon Retail site. Working closely with the Production team, Customers, Engineering, supply chain and our employees, this will be a hands on role with scope to shape and develop a high performing and effective Quality Team, driving a Food Safety Culture throughout the site and working proactively and collaboratively with our production colleagues to ensure we deliver on our quality commitments to our customers.ResponsibilitiesRole:Responsibility for Quality standards within the production areaBeing the driving force behind Food Safety Culture initiativesProviding up to date reports, analysis and feedback to the Site FSQ ManagerSupplier non-conformance reporting and actionsIntegrity of process including label verificationsInvestigating with Root Cause Analysis on any Customer complaintsMaintaining the Quality Management systemAttending Lean 6s & Pit Meetings as well as daily Production MeetingsEnsuring regular meetings and action updates with Hygiene managerCompletion of Audits GMP, Allergen etcFollow up Pest control CAsSchedule Validations and Schedule CalibrationsReview Service Level Agreements & Haulier approvals Responsible for Quality team on the shift, in terms of work structure, communication and effectiveness Employee Interviews, performance management and development plans Drive the continuous improvement agenda within the teamBuilding strong collaborative relationships with all departmentsFollowing our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligenceQualificationsThe Person:Formal Qualification in a Food Science or related areaExperience in a Supervisory or Management position within Food Manufacturing Strong Understanding of FSQ Management systems including HACCPExperience dealing with customer and 3rd party auditsGood knowledge of industry standardsStrong relationships and networks with Industry and CommunityAbility to help deliver change and manage a team through a change process Keen interest in people development and performance management Ability to make decisions, help develop strategy and drive an agenda forwardStrong communication skills and the ability to positively influence stakeholdersSelf-motivated and driven with the ability to deliver improvementsAbility to work on a shift pattern basisWilling to build knowledge base above and beyond core experienceBenefitsEnhanced HolidayFree On-Site Car CarkingSubsidised CanteenPension SchemeLife Assurance CoverDiscounted Staff ShopPhone and Car Insurance PerksFree Health SurveillanceOngoing Training and Progression OpportunitiesEmployee Engagement ActivitiesGive Aways (Free meat seasonally)Refer a Friend SchemeDeath in Service schemeThis role operates on a shift basis, including weekend work, which will be discussed at interview.All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.No company sponsorship is available to overseas applicants for this position.
