Project Manager (ARB Architect) – Retrofit SpecialistsLocation: Hybrid (2 days in workspace, King’s Cross, London)Salary: £40k–£50k + benefitsOur client is seeking an experienced, ARB-registered Architect to join their team as a Project Manager, working within a specialist practice focused on the design, delivery and coordination of retrofit programmes in social housing. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine architectural expertise with meaningful project delivery, improving homes and lives at scale.The business is a values-led social enterprise with a reputation for delivering consistent quality and providing procurement oversight to a range of clients in the public sector. You’ll work closely with their Founding Director and Associate Director in a collaborative and passionate team.Key RequirementsARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) – this is an essential requirement for this role.Demonstrable experience in leading UK-based construction programmes through to completion.Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams, with a collaborative and proactive communication style.Strong project and people management skills, with the ability to adapt communication for a range of stakeholders and clients.Sound technical knowledge of traditional and modern construction methods.Experience in preparing Employers’ Requirements and administrating contracts.Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and statutory compliance.Familiarity with a range of contracts, procurement strategies, and supply chain management.Awareness of retrofit frameworks such as PAS 2035, PAS 2030, TrustMark, SAP and EPC assessments.Desirable qualifications (training available if not held):Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk ManagementLevel 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional BuildingsYou must have the right to work in the UK.
