We show up with energy and personality, building magnetic campaigns with a human touch.About The RoleThe role of Finance Manager will oversee Midnight Creative Group’s end-end finance operations and manage the finance team. Being responsible for the group’s month end reporting, liaising with auditors and ensuring the procedures and controls are operating effectively whilst recommending improvements where needed. This role will be based in our Leeds office.What you'll be doing: Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.Budgeting and forecasting.Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings.Acting as the first point of contact for our external auditors and managing that process.Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.Managing the weekly payment run process.Leading the team responsible for payroll, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.Managing the M.I. and our project management system to ensure the information being reported is reliable and always agrees to the finance system.ABOUT YOURSELFFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)2+ years of experience or more in a similar role Strong technical accounting knowledgeStrong Excel and modelling skillsExperience creating monthly management accounts would be beneficialExperience of AP and AR functions from either in house or as an external auditorPrevious experience using accounting software such as Sage/Quickbooks/Zero is desirableProduced/reviewed budgets and forecastsExperience running an annual auditAgency experience is advantageous The package23 days paid holiday (per annum) plus Bank holidaysXmas office closure in addition to your Holiday entitlementCompany healthcare for yourself with Health ShieldAssistance programme with 24/7 confidential access as part of your Health Shield planFlexible working scheme - WFH 2x per week for this roleMentoring programme parallel to your Line Management schemeWork Pension schemeFull access to a range of training coursesCycle-to-work scheme after passing probationThe Midnight Club is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
