Hard FM Manager – Healthcare Facilities (Permanent, Full-Time)Location: Berkshire Salary: £70,000We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for a Hard FM Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across a complex, compliance-led healthcare estate.This is a key leadership position requiring a technically skilled professional who is confident managing M&E systems and building fabric, while ensuring compliance within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance, leading a team of in-house engineers and specialist subcontractors, and meeting all contractual and statutory requirements.What You Will Be Doing:Lead and manage all aspects of hard FM delivery, including mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance across the estate.Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance is met and maintained at all times.Deliver reactive and planned maintenance to strict KPIs and performance standards.Act as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, client-side contacts, and contractors.Manage contract variations, lifecycle projects, and budgetary control effectively.Provide visible leadership to supervisors, tradespeople, and assistants, promoting a strong health and safety culture.Maintain accurate records including asset registers, drawings, and compliance documentation.What We Are Looking For:Significant experience in a technical/FM management role, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.A recognised qualification in Building Services or related field (HND or higher preferred).Strong working knowledge of compliance requirements (HTMs, statutory inspections, risk assessments).Experience working within tight financial and contractual parameters, ideally within a PFI context.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
