Finance Director – Board-Level | Retained SearchWe’re proud to be partnering exclusively on a retained basis to appoint a commercially astute Finance Director for a successful multi-site, privately owned business with a strong presence in its sector and plans for growth and investment. This is a pivotal board-level position, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO. As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the entire finance function, playing a key role in driving strategic decisions and enabling commercial success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the finance function, ensuring robust financial control and compliancePartner with the MD and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and growthProvide financial insight to support investment decisions, site development, and operational improvementsManage external relationships with banks, auditors, and other key stakeholdersOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all sitesInspire and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and proactive cultureAbout YouA qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with post-qualification experience.Commercially minded with a proven track record in multi-site, ideally in the leisure, hospitality, or property sectorsExperience managing diverse revenue streams and capital investmentSkilled in stakeholder management and business partneringA hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environmentHigh integrity and strong ethical standards are essentialExperience of multi-site systems to drive efficient and insightful reportingThis role demands a finance leader with both a proven technical background and a clear commercial lens, and would suit an established Finance Director / Finance leader ready to step into a broader leadership role.
