While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs.You will report to the accomplished aftersales manager who will give on-going support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you!Key responsibilities…Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technologyConducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requestsCarrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customerWarranty repairs are per the manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant write up is completeTaking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standardWhat you’ll bring…Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to youNVQ Level 3 or equivalent (required, but level 2 will be considered)A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and proceduresFull UK Driving licenceMotivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplaceMOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offeredAn Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be providedWhat’s on offer…Enhanced holidays that increase with serviceEligibility to join one of our car schemesCritical illness cover after 2 years and Life AssuranceSmart Health - free access to support 24 hours a day, 365 days a yearEnhanced paid maternity, paternity and adoption leaveFor some roles a company car and additional earning potential through commission or bonus.Salary: OTE up to £51,600 (basic £30,000 - £45,000; plus OTE up to £6,600) + extra 2k for EV Qualifcation Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes lunch, Saturdays on rota 8am to 1pm (1 in 3 as overtime)Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.Volvo’s Retailers welcome applications from candidates of any background who have relevant repair, maintenance, and servicing vehicles experience, including those from other industries who have transferable skills and competencies.
