Head of Finance – Car DealershipLocation: Harrogate Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits Are you a strategic and hands-on finance leader looking to make a real impact in a fast-growing business? A dynamic and ambitious independent used car dealership in Harrogate is expanding across the North of England and are looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance to drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, entrepreneurial company at an exciting stage of its journey. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping financial strategy, optimizing processes, and supporting commercial decision-making to fuel continued success.What You’ll Be Doing:Financial Strategy & Leadership – Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth. Provide commercial insights to Directors, influencing key decisions and performance improvements.Financial Management & Reporting – Oversee financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, credit control, and cash flow management. Prepare accurate management accounts, variance analysis, and financial forecasts to drive decision-making.Process & Compliance – Ensure robust financial controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. Lead the annual audit process and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.Business Partnering & Commercial Finance – Support pricing strategies, cost analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.
