This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, influence positive change, and develop your skills in a forward-thinking company committed to continuous improvement.Role PurposeAs Executive Assistant to the Managing Director and Technical Director, you will:Manage and triage emails, ensuring timely responses and flagging priority items.Support recruitment processes, including job adverts, candidate screening, and interview coordination.Collate, summarise, and report on key metrics and business performance.Provide general administrative support to senior leadership.Support project management efforts by tracking progress, scheduling meetings, and ensuring tasks are completed.Identify and implement process improvements for administrative tasks, automating and streamlining workflows using digital tools.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily inbox management for senior leadership, drafting and scheduling communications.Coordinate recruitment activities: job adverts, CV reviews, interview scheduling, and candidate feedback.Generate and present weekly and monthly reports, highlighting trends and insights.Maintain calendars, arrange meetings, and prepare agendas and minutes.Liaise with internal teams to monitor project milestones and follow up on outstanding actions.Proactively propose and implement new systems and tools to automate administrative tasks and streamline workflows.Essential Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a senior EA, PA, or administrative role.Strong digital literacy: proficient with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and comfortable learning new software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under minimal supervision.DesirableExposure to Lean methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks.Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, Jira).Experience in a manufacturing or online retail environment.BenefitsCompetitive salary of £30,000–£40,000 per annum.Statutory pension scheme.21 days annual leave plus 7 bank holidays (28 days total).Flexible working opportunities (primarily office-based with occasional remote days).Opportunities for professional development and participation in future bonus schemes.
