The ideal candidatewill be responsible for ensuring fullCQC compliance,conducting audits, implementing quality improvement plans, andsupporting care home managers in maintaining exceptional standards.This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strongbackground in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and adultsocial care. Key Responsibilities: RegulatoryCompliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure fullcompliance withCQC standards and regulationsacross allservices. Conduct regularinternal audits, inspections,and risk assessmentsto identify areas for improvement. Develop and implementquality improvement plansinresponse to audit findings and regulatory requirements. Keepup to date with changes in legislation and ensure best practices arefollowed. Support care home managers in preparing for andmanagingCQC inspections. Policy Development& Implementation: Develop, update, and implementpolicies and procedures to ensure high-quality care delivery. Monitor and analyze care performance data to identify trendsand areas for enhancement. Provide guidance and training tostaff on compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards. Staff Training & Development: Delivertraining and workshops to ensure staff are knowledgeable aboutCQCregulations and quality standards. Support care homemanagers in fostering a culture of continuous improvement andaccountability. Conduct competency assessments and providecoaching for staff to enhance service quality. Safeguarding & Resident Care: Ensure thatsafeguarding policies are rigorously followed and that incidents areeffectively managed and reported. Work closely with care homemanagers to improve care planning andperson-centered supportfor residents. Monitor and evaluate resident feedback toenhance service quality and resident satisfaction. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Work collaboratively withCQC inspectors, localauthorities, and healthcare professionals. Provideregular reports on compliance status, audit findings, and qualityimprovement initiatives to senior management. Act as the mainpoint of contact for regulatory and quality-related queries. Key Requirements: Proven experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or a senior managementrole within adult social care. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspections, and best practices. Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, andimplementing quality improvement strategies. Excellentleadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams to driveservice improvements.
