HMNB ClydeJob SummaryHis Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde (HMNB Clyde) is home to the United Kingdom’s Strategic Nuclear Deterrent, Astute Class Attack Submarines, First Mine Counter Measure Squadron and 43 Cdo Royal Marines. It is an operational support and maintenance base, within the Navy Command TLB and comprises both Faslane and Coulport sites. HMNB Clyde’s primary purpose is to provide engineering and logistical support to the Royal Navy in maintaining Continuous at Sea Deterrent (CASD). This is achieved by ensuring at least one Vanguard Class submarine is on patrol at sea every day of the year.RNAD Coulport is responsible for the storage, processing, maintenance and issue of the Trident Weapon System and the ammunitioning of all submarine-embarked tactical weapons.In Navy Command, our civil servants work alongside their military colleagues in jobs that matter; jobs which often have a direct impact on the quality of the operational capabilities we deliver. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in consolidating project management information, supporting key projects, and ensuring compliance with security regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:Consolidate project management information to ensure alignment and integration of projects to capture any shortfalls or gaps. Ensuring all projects are following the same processes. Support Security Capability Integrator SEOs with projects (including but not limited to) Replacement Warhead, Dreadnought, Prog EUSTON, and Clyde 2070. Represent the Clyde Security Organisation at HMNB Clyde Security working groups and project security meetings as required by Assistant Head Naval Base Security. Provide security project information to the Assistant Head Naval Base Security for the 1* Security Board and other relevant meetings. Collaborate with other CSyO members to produce Operational Requirements for security projects at Faslane and Coulport. Review Security Systems capabilities daily, identify faults, and work towards remediation to mitigate risks. Contribute to compliance with Level 2 and Level 3 assurance activities at HMNB Clyde to meet Defence Security Condition requirements. Assist in compiling the Single Integrated Priority List for CSyO owned by AHNBS.
