Prepare and establish daily shipping schedules to ensure the stores have inventory necessary to meet customer needs. Verify proper receipt of product and escalate any receiving discrepancies. Assist their direct leader in handling daily communications with third-party partners regarding schedule changes and business needs. Supervise proper staging, pallet construction, and accuracy of product selection. Support timely, accurate, and efficient storage of received products, supplies, and equipment. Facilitate communication and fulfillment of store needs, including order changes or requests. Support supervision and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations. Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve operations and personnel development. Work cooperatively with colleagues and departments, communicating relevant information promptly. Monitor company service providers within the warehouse, ensuring performance standards are met. Communicate issues to service providers and vendors' management, reporting concerns to their direct leader. Provide feedback and recommendations for operational improvements and implement action plans as directed. Inform management of team developments and concerns timely and effectively. Resolve complaints and ensure equitable treatment of team members. Manage warehouse processes and workload distribution to meet efficiency and inventory goals, monitoring expenses. Assist with planning and facilitating team meetings. Conduct inventory controls, use tracking forms, and participate in warehouse inventory counts. Perform general cleaning duties to maintain safety and appearance standards. Lead inspections of inbound deliveries and order fulfillment, verifying receipt and compliance. Provide administrative support at the central desk as needed. Assist management in achieving budgeted goals. Aid in the efficient selection and receipt of stock to fulfill store orders. Operate equipment safely according to guidelines. Report product quality, safety, and sanitation concerns. Ensure personnel compliance with company policies and demonstrate appropriate interactions. Assist in training, development, and performance monitoring, providing coaching as needed. Communicate and model company vision and values to foster teamwork. Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines. Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards and ensuring proper equipment maintenance. Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk. Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments. Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
