As Subject Leader for Science (Key Stage 3), you'll lead curriculum development, implement innovative teaching, ensure effective assessments, and promote a positive learning environment. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Department, manage resources, and inspire a love of science while supporting staff development and student progress. Job Duties:Lead the Science department for Key Stage 3 Develop and implement the Science curriculum in line with national guidelines Monitor and assess student progress in Science Provide guidance and support to Science teachers Organise and oversee Science-related events and activities Required Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialism in Science education Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of the national Science curriculum Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to mentor and support colleagues What Teaching Personnel Offer:Competitive pay rates and benefits.
