Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.Be part of something bigWithin this role, you will be responsibile for initially developing and embedding the Strategic Infrasturcture ( SI ) inputs into the overall Quality Management System (QMS) and drive the Quality Management activities across SI. The post holder will be required to develop a culture of quality throughout the organisation and ensure that the QMS is robust, effective, and efficient and that clear reporting lines and metrics regarding quality are developed, maintained and reported.About youWhat we do isn’t just important - it’s essential. You might just be the right person for our growing business in this role or another one.What you'll do• Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) integrated with Process and projects controls & occupational safety, environmental and asset management requirements. • Responsible for ensuring the standards of policies, procedures and practices for quality are in line with company BMS. • Conduct Quality Management Reviews and reporting to leadership. • Develop and manage quality reporting through the business based on 1st & 2nd line assurance to SI Exec in a consistent manner focused on continual improvement. • Report to leadership on all quality matters. • Work with the assurance and risk teams to ensure that the company’s risks are appropriately managed via the implementation of the QMS and embed the continuous improvement of it as needed. • Manage the external certification from SI perspective in support of overall NGET certification to maintain ISO 9001. • Support the embedded projects quality teams to ensure that there is appropriate quality management support, communication, and awareness to the business standards and that a culture of quality is embedded. • Use sound objective data to identify improvements to the quality management system and work with the SI delivery teams and support functions to continuous improvement in the QMS. • Develop and implement induction and training material on quality • Develop and communicate standard expectations on quality competence for key roles on projects and operations.What you'll getA competitive salary between £62,000 - £72,000- dependent on capability.As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
