An exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors. BMCSO provides world-class operations to our customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day. Day-to-day, the position is for a captain based in Norwich operating on the H145 D3, offering varied and challenging flying across disciplines including HEMS and NVIS operations. The successful candidate must maintain high standards of professionalism and safety throughout this challenging role. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, based on-site at Norwich. Required skills: Essential experience: Either:1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft, including 500 hours on twin turbine helicopters; or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, including 500 hours as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.Minimum 2000 hours total helicopter experience. At least 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an environment similar to the intended operation. 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command. Experience flying with Night Vision Goggles. Qualifications: Hold a UK ATPL(H) Fluent English, valid Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK Qualified and instrument-rated on the EC145 Security Clearance: The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
