Do you want to join a team providing vital services at a state-of-the-art agricultural research facility?The University of Leeds has an Agricultural Estate of 317 hectares, located 12 miles from Leeds, near Tadcaster. The estate supports academic research and teaching, and operates as a commercial arable and pig farm hosting research and innovation projects.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Farm Operations and Research Teams in managing the University of Leeds Research Farm.Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility, including wider farm sites at Headley Hall and Wise Warren Farms.Greet visitors and liaise with researchers, internal trade teams, and external contractors to maintain the site to a high standard.Manage financial aspects such as setting annual budgets, raising purchase orders, receiving goods and services, and goods receipting for payments.Candidate RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.Experience working within a team and using own initiative, especially under tight deadlines.Exceptional organisational skills to handle various tasks and requests, maintaining high customer service standards.Working Hours 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Visa Requirements Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants.
