Poultry Hatchery Farm Assistants - Mt AlfordWorking with Live birds Asap start - Must be in the area 28-33 hours per week APG are currently recruiting for 2x Farm Hands for our client based in Mt Alford for an immediate start.With a strong focus on team culture, safety and fast paced environment you will be required to be both physically and mentally fit to ensure you become an integral part of their team and culture moving forward. The work will require you to have fast hands and be standing on your feet majority of your shift.It is part-time (28-33 hours per week), Monday to Friday 6am starts Must in the area for ASAP START and must have reliable transport.Duties will include: Ensure all livestock is treated humanely, and in compliance with Ingham’s Minimum Standard Procedures Processing and inspecting eggs and chicken safely and systematically, according to quality specification Completing manual handling duties Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks Cleaning duties and maintaining a clean work space Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
