Job Purpose The role of the Transaction Manager is to:Control and generate maximum profit retention for the Sales Department.Achieve vehicle sales, finance sales, accessory sales volumes, and profit objectives.Manage all vehicle sales processes within the business.Maximise business opportunities for finance and insurance products.Adhere to FCA guidelines at all times regarding financial information and regulated activities.Work well under pressure, being reliable and organised; manage conflicting demands and meet deadlines without compromising work quality and customer satisfaction.Department/Business/Location: Sales/Southampton AudiReports To Sales ManagerKey Responsibilities This Job Description is not contractual and may be updated at any time.Manage customer follow-up systems and procedures to increase sales from initial enquiries and existing customers via the Lead Management System.Generate sales through proactive customer engagement.Maximise income opportunities by offering funding and insurance products, adhering to FCA guidelines.Convey a customer-first culture in line with TCF principles and FCA regulations.Review customer credit applications for accuracy, follow up with customers and lenders.Identify and pursue relationship opportunities via outbound sales and marketing channels for future renewal and finance retention.Ensure accurate documentation, prompt collection of payments, and safe handling of transactions.Understand manufacturer mystery shopping criteria and apply this knowledge.Assist in appraising and managing part exchange vehicles for maximum return.Aim for 100% customer referral rate through sales team interaction.Communicate promptly with customers, managers, and colleagues.Analyze procedures and identify improvement opportunities.Develop training plans for sales staff to increase sales of vehicles, finance, insurance, and warranties.Consult with customers to establish needs, resolve complaints professionally.Represent the dealership and build relationships with lenders and financial institutions.Assist management in planning, forecasting, and strategic planning.Ensure safety and report hazards.Experience Essential: Must be an experienced Business Manager/Transaction Manager within the main dealer network.The Harwoods Way Harwoods Group is a values-led, family-owned automotive retail group founded in 1931.
