You’ll assist with volunteer rotas, group activities, stock monitoring, food presentation, cash transactions, and basic admin tasks. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.About The RoleAs a Healthy Living Champion, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, supportive environment in our community café. You willSupport the day-to-day operations of Simon’s Café Create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for the public and service users Help coordinate volunteer rotas and café activities Facilitate or support ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ group sessions Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene Monitor stock, support ordering, and manage food and drink presentation Handle cash transactions and support with basic admin tasks Promote teamwork and take part in learning and development opportunitiesAbout YouWe’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and passionate about community wellbeing. Ideally, you will haveExperience in a café, hospitality, or customer service environment A warm and approachable attitude, with strong people skills Confidence working in a team and supporting others Good organisational skills and attention to detail Basic food safety knowledge and experience handling food and drink NVQ Level 1 in hospitality & catering (or willingness to work towards it) A genuine passion for creating a positive experience for othersWhat We OfferA supportive and inclusive team culture. 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
