Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Team Manager with Ipswich Adult Community Mental Health Team, based at Mariner House, Ipswich. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. A key aspect of this role is providing clinical and operational leadership to the Team, including line management responsibilities, and ensuring effective governance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring effective service delivery. As Community Team Manager, you will play a key role in the overall development of our service and clinical practice. Main duties of the jobResponsible for the operational management of the service delivery within the service. Provide visible leadership, promote a values-based culture, and act as a role model within the environment. Lead and manage the team, ensuring they are suitably trained, informed, and competent to carry out their duties, with mechanisms for supervision, appraisal, objective setting, and personal development planning. Demonstrate understanding of service user needs and care requirements. Contribute to MDT decisions regarding care based on knowledge and expertise. Ensure care is delivered within a patient-centered framework involving service users, families, and carers. Use feedback from service users and carers to improve the service. Ensure team practices align with trust policies, protocols, standards, including NICE guidance where possible, and that complaints and incidents are reported appropriately. Implement systems to embed learning and continuous improvements from incidents and complaints. Distribute tasks and responsibilities fairly within the team to provide effective and responsive care for service users and carers.
