School Caretaker – Faversham Location:Faversham, KentSalary:From £14 per hourHours:Full-time (split shifts may be required)Academics is working with an excellent primary school in Faversham seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their friendly and supportive team.As a caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school premises to a high standard, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, and general DIY tasks around the site.Opening and closing the school premises, including security checks.Managing cleaning supplies and liaising with cleaning staff.Ensuring the school grounds are clean, tidy, and safe.Monitoring health and safety standards and reporting issues.Assisting with setting up rooms for events and activities.Liaising with contractors and supervising on-site works as required.We are looking for someone who:Is hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in their work.Has good practical skills and basic knowledge of building maintenance.Understands health and safety regulations.Can work independently and use their initiative.Is friendly, approachable, and flexible to meet the school's needs.Experience in a similar role or a background in trades/maintenance would be advantageous.How to apply: Please send your CV.Academics is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
