With a rich history dating back to 1862, we pride ourselves on our tradition of quality and innovation, employing around 700 colleagues at our state-of-the-art facility.About the RoleWe are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of key retail accounts within a fast-paced environment onsite at Gunstones Bakery. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing strong relationships with major multiple retailers such as Aldi, Asda and M&S and you will lead commercial strategies that shape the future of our Meal Solutions Business.Key ResponsibilitiesTaking full ownership of up to two major retail accounts, fostering strong customer relationships and delivering tailored presentations; travel to customer sites as neededPartnering with retailers to accurately forecast volumes, plan promotions, and manage product costingDeveloping and implementing joint business plans aimed at driving profitable sales growthLeading price negotiations to optimise commercial outcomes and maintain product profitabilityCollaborating and supporting the Commercial Executive to analyse market and category data, supporting insightful sales reporting and strategic decision-makingLiaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of customer initiativesAbout YouWe are looking for a confident and driven Commercial Manager with a proven track record of managing retail accounts within the FMCG sector.
