To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for 4x Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our team at our Eclipse Factory in Leicestershire, LE67 6HS. The successful candidates will provide plant-wide maintenance, departmental support, and mechanical repairs to ensure production targets are met. The shift pattern is a 5 on 5 off cycle, with 12-hour day and night shifts (5,5,4 pattern). Overtime is available for those interested in earning extra. Compensation and benefits include: Basic salary of £41,220 20% Shift Allowance 5 on 5 off shift pattern (days & nights) 22 days holiday per annum Share scheme & Pension match up to 10% Extensive training and development Responsibilities include: Providing plant-wide maintenance and mechanical repairs to meet production targets Supporting machine setup and changeovers, ensuring quality standards and efficiency Collaborating with the Engineering and Production Managers to fulfill maintenance needs Promoting the development and use of the Factory IMS & CMMS systems Designing, fabricating, and machining parts as needed Applying TPM tools & techniques for continuous improvement Maintaining high standards of housekeeping using 5S principles Qualifications & Experience: Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualification Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechanical or Dual Discipline) Level 3 City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent Time-served advanced apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance or related fields Skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, and general mechanical systems Welding skills are an advantage Strong health and safety awareness Ability to fault-find, repair, and solve problems efficiently Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems maintenance and fault diagnosis Basic welding and fabrication skills Proficient in MS Word and Excel Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques Understanding of current health and safety laws and practices in manufacturing Additional notes: Verification of qualifications is required; proof must be provided Flexible, self-motivated attitude Numerate and literate More details: Full-time, permanent role Salary £49,464 Bonus scheme and shift allowance included Matched pension up to 10%, life insurance, share save scheme Employee assistance and retail discounts Opportunities for personal development and career progression Our commitment to diversity and inclusion: We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of background.
