Join our team at the IVAS (Intravenous Assessment and Support) Unit at Frimley Park Hospital as aBand 5 Staff Nurse.We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate nurses to deliver high-quality care within our outpatient infusion service.This is afull-time positionworkingfour days a week, Monday to Friday , from8:00 am to 6:00 pm.Main duties of the jobThe IVAS infusion unit is a new concept in integrated Intravenous and vascular access services care for day case patients who can have infusion therapy to avoid admission or facilitate early discharge.The IVAS unit also includes the vascular access service and the HIMS service and as such all member of the team will become competent in ultrasound guided cannulation and midline insertion, competency in using all types of vascular access devices and working with HIMS patients.You will support and work in conjunction with the IVAS team in the delivery of outpatient and ambulatory care IV services.Our IVAS Nursing team benefit from a strong support framework and a positive approach to flexible working in order to help our staff achieve a healthy work/ life balance.Working for our organisationFrimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability confident employer and has been awarded the Gold for the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme.
