The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of adult learners. This role involves managing a dedicated team to ensure the curriculum is robust, engaging, and aligned with relevant standards and educational best practices. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development:Design, implement, and continuously improve the curriculum for Adult Skills provision, ensuring alignment with local, regional, and national priorities. Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of delivery and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Quality Assurance:Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and teaching, learning, and assessment processes. Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of adult learners. Resource Management:Manage the budget and resources allocated to the curriculum area, ensuring efficient use to maximise outcomes for learners. Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with all relevant funding rules, policies, and procedures, and prepare accurate reports as required. Student Support:Develop and implement strategies to support student retention, progression, and achievement. Minimum Requirements: Degree in a relevant subject. Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths. Level 5 or equivalent teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. Proven track record of building productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in developing curriculum plans and managing a team. Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in using Microsoft computer packages and software applications. Experience of management within adult education, including knowledge on funding. Understanding of quality assurance processes.
